Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL AUTHORS

All manuscripts should be written in good English Language. The manuscript should be typed using Microsoft Word, Times New Roman, Font 12 for the body of the text and Font 14 for the headings, and sub-headings, one and half (1.5) line spaced and in A4 set up. It should not be more than 15 pages, including references.

All manuscripts submitted to IJASSE must be original manuscripts and should not have been submitted to another journal at the time of submitting them to IJASSE Manuscripts submitted to IJASSE will first be checked for similarity using anti-plagiarism software. Only manuscripts that passed this stage will be processed further. The acceptable similarity index threshold is 20%.

The cover page should include the paper title, author(s) names, institutional affiliation, e-mail address(es) and phone numbers of the authors.

The main manuscript should also have the title of the article/research followed by the abstract which should not be more than 250 words. Five keywords should be specified after the abstract.

Tables, figures, graphs and diagrams should be legible and should be embedded in the main body of the work where they are applicable. They should be appropriately numbered with a short title.

The 7th edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) referencing style should be used.

All accepted papers by UASSE have their copyrights transferred to IJASSE.
